Art Direction, Branding, Campaign Development for Washington D.C.’s G League Team

The Capital City Go-Go, the G League team of the Washington Wizards, needed a campaign for their first season in their new home at the brand new Sports and Entertainment Arena the 8th ward of Washington D.C. our goal was to create a sense of culture and community by diving deep into the Go-Go influences of the city.

For research and historical accuracy, we worked directly with Maryland Institute College of Art who purchased and preserved the assets from the Globe Press which had printed the historical and notable posters that used to announce visiting acts like James Brown.
